How I Can Help

As a humanistic counsellor, hypnotherapist, and coach, I help clients release what's keeping them 'stuck' and move forward with greater confidence, intention and connection. You may be navigating something specific, or simply know that things aren't right and you're ready for change.

While I support people with a wide range of challenges, I specialise in supporting women who are healing after:

  • Sexual abuse
  • Domestic abuse

Whatever brings you here, you are welcome.  Scroll down to read more about how I can help.

Therapy for Emotional Wellbeing

Sometimes life feels like too much. You may be:

  • Struggling with anxiety or constant stress
  • Feeling lost, low in confidence, or disconnected from yourself
  • Going through grief, a breakup, or major life change
  • Carrying shame, sadness, or anger with no clear reason why

I provide a warm, supportive space where you can:

  • Talk openly without judgement
  • Understand your emotions and patterns
  • Feel calmer and more in control
  • Reconnect with your needs, values, and self-worth
  • Make lasting, meaningful change

There’s no “right” reason to come to therapy. You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to get support. If something doesn’t feel right, we can explore it together.

Support for Survivors Healing from Sexual Abuse

Sexual abuse is deeply personal and often misunderstood. Whether it happened recently or long ago, it can affect every part of your life: how you feel in your body, how you trust, how you see yourself and your relationships.

You may be living with:

  • Flashbacks or intrusive memories
  • Anxiety, panic, or numbness
  • Difficulty with boundaries, intimacy, or trust
  • Shame, guilt, or confusion
  • A sense of isolation or “stuckness”
  • A feeling that 'it' is getting in the way of your present life/relationships

You’re not alone. And it wasn’t your fault.

I offer trauma-informed therapy that is calm, gentle, and entirely led by you. You will never be pushed to share more than you’re ready to. Together, we can work toward a sense of safety, understanding, healing and a future you want, whatever that looks like for you.

Therapy for Domestic Abuse

Domestic abuse isn’t just physical, it's often emotional, financial, sexual, or psychological. It often involves fear, control, and being made to doubt yourself. Whether you’re still in the situation, recently left, or dealing with the aftermath years later, the effects can be profound. Sometimes women may not even realise the full impact until another life event raises it to the surface, a new relationship or parenting challenges, for instance.

You might be:

  • Feeling anxious, frozen, numb or unsafe
  • Dealing with guilt, shame, or confusion
  • Struggling with parenting after separation
  • Struggling with boundaries or trust
  • Trying to rebuild your identity
  • Feeling disempowered by patriarchal systems such as the courts or healthcare.
  • Carrying fear from a past relationship into your present life
  • Struggling with relationships in general (romantic, family or friendships)

I provide a safe, grounded space where you are listened to and believed. I work at your pace, supporting you to make sense of what's happened, find your voice again, and move toward the life you want to live.

A Space That’s Truly Yours

Whatever you’re facing, therapy is a space to explore, express, and grow. I bring compassion, honesty, and deep respect into my work, and I’m here to support you without judgement, pressure, or expectation.

A Note on Inclusivity

I welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.

You are safe and valued here, regardless of your gender, sexuality, race, culture, faith, body size, relationship style, or life history. Whilst I have a specialism with working with women due to my training, professional and personal experiences, I also work affirmatively with LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent clients, survivors of trauma, and anyone who may have felt unseen or misunderstood elsewhere.

This is a space where you don’t have to explain or justify who you are. You deserve care, compassion, and support, exactly as you are.
